Global Village: Batam Build
Community Rejuvenation in Batam - to improve the standard of living for 3,000 families through the reconstruction of new homes, improving the current water, drainage and electricity system.
Description: House Construction-- An initiative co-run by Habitat Singapore and Indonesia that aims to support vulnerable homeowners living in unconducive and hazardous environments through the reconstruction of their homes.
Date & Time: No fixed date & time. Batam Build is conducted every Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays with option of 1-day or 2-day duration.
Volunteer Positions
Volunteer
Minimum age for volunteers is 21 years old on the date of the build trip. Volunteers must be reasonably fit with no serious injuries or medical conditions.
