Get Paid to Facilitate A Social Hackathon for Give.Asia

Volunteering doesn’t have to be formal or complicated—it can start with a conversation, a gathering, or a shared idea.

These social hackathons are designed as an entry point into impact, where you can bring people together, explore social issues, and reflect on how to create change.

Give.Asia is offering $100 to community organizers who are willing to turn usual hangouts into an informal social hackathon—whether it’s a discussion on social challenges, a brainstorming session for new initiatives, or an activity that contributes to a cause.

How it works:

  • Join or host a gathering—a casual meet-up, dinner, or discussion circle.

  • Engage with a social cause—every event includes an ideation or reflection activity about social issues in society, or a positive direction you'd like society to move towards. You can also follow

  • Learn, connect, and take action—explore what you care about, brainstorm solutions, or contribute to an ongoing initiatives

  • Submit these solutions for consideration— entries may become incubated into actual initiatives in Singapore.

Bronze Tier Volunteer
During my time volunteering at SRC, I was actively involved in various events and activities aimed at building resilience and fostering community spirit. One of my notable experiences was participating in the Responder for Resilience 2024 (Run 4) event, where I contributed to organizing and facilitating educational sessions. My journey with SRC allowed me to develop essential skills in teamwork, leadership, and community service while making a positive impact on society. I also completed several valuable training programs, including First Aid with CPR and AED, Psychology First Aid and Befriender, and the Home+ program.
